The State of Alaska, Department of Corrections is seeking proposals for the provision of community-based sex offender treatment and management services for individuals under the supervision of the Department’s field probation office in Anchorage, Alaska. (This solicitation will result in one of several separate professional service contracts DOC issues covering sex offender treatment needs in the Anchorage area.)
Mandatory qualifications include that the contract treatment provider must be an Approved Provider of sex offender management services under the Alaska Department of Corrections regulations. Any individual who is not currently classified as an “approved provider” must additionally complete and submit an application questionnaire to DOC for review.
Proposals will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 p.m., September 22, 2017. The solicitation document contains specific information regarding mandatory prior qualifications as an approved provider and submission instructions.
The services are anticipated to begin approximately November 1, 2017 and continue through June 30, 2018 with optional renewal periods up to October 31, 2021.
