PUBLIC NOTICE
In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.055 the Municipal Land Trust Officer, acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development, is considering the issuance of a disclaimer of interest regarding a land swap between NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. and the Native Village of Noatak for the following described parcels to be transferred to the Native Village of Noatak:
The surface estate of that certain real property located in Sections 9, 16, and 17, Township 25 North, Range 19 West, Kateel River Meridian, Alaska within the Kotzebue Recording District, containing 1.26 acres more or less, more particularly identified as:
Lots 2-4, Block 3 of the Kuutchauraq Subdivision 1995 Phase, recorded as Plat 96-2
Lots 7-9, Block 3 of the Kuutchauraq Subdivision Addition No. 1, recorded as Plat 2000-14
Lot 11 of the Noatak Heights Subdivision, recorded as Plat 89-6
The Native Village of Noatak Council, the recognized appropriate village entity for the village of Noatak, adopted a resolution approving the land swap on May 22, 2017.
The public is invited to comment on the proposed disclaimer. Please submit comments to:

Following the comment deadline, all responses will be reviewed and the Commissioner’s decision on this matter may be modified as a result of information received.
