NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Seward Highway MP 114 to Dimond Blvd Pavement Preservation Design Services
RFP Number 25172030
The Contractor shall provide design services for the Seward Highway from MP 114 to the Dimond Blvd interchange. Expected features include resurfacing two lanes undivided to Rabbit Creek Rd, four lanes divided to Dimond Blvd, bridge repair/deck overlay, and large culvert replacement. Other improvements include signing, striping, signalization, automated traffic recorders, drainage, dig outs, curb ramps, guardrail, bridge rail, bridge repair, lighting and utility relocation. Services include a design study report, environmental analysis, traffic control plan, plans, specifications, and estimates. Assistance during bidding and construction shall also be provided. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to accomplish these services by other means including adding the services to the contract by amendment.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately June 2017 to January 2021. Cost of these professional services is expected to be between $250,000 and $500,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available March 31, 2017 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the Municipality of Anchorage may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must be received no later than April 21, 2017, 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
