Lease Agreement ADA-32133 Ketchikan Airways, LLC at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, Lake Hood Seaplane Base

NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO LEASE AIRPORT PROPERTY: The State of Alaska, Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (TSAIA), Lake Hood Seaplane Base proposes to execute a new Property Lease under ADA 32133.  LESSEE: Ketchikan Airways, LLC.  AREA: Block 28; Lot 8; The proposed Lease would create a newly defined lease premises of up to 76,000 sq ft (approx), on the eastern shore of Lake Spenard including the structures known as the “Log Cabins” and surrounding land, to include up to Floatslips Lake 890 through Lake 902.  LEASE TERM:  Up to twenty-five (25) years beginning May 1, 2017 and ending by April 30, 2042. RENTAL RATE:  Up to $25,000 per year.  AUTHORIZED USES:  Base and conduct commercial floatplane operations;  air charter operations; aircraft tiedown & staging, uses incidental to the aviation uses such as limited vehicle parking areas and office space that do not interfere with the primary purpose of the facility.

 

This file, including ADA 32133, is available for review during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, at the Lake Hood Seaplane Base, located at 4451 Aircraft Drive, Ste. H, Anchorage, Alaska 99502.  Comments or competing applications may be submitted in writing to: Attention: Tim Coons, Lake Hood Seaplane Base, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, P.O. Box 196960, Anchorage, Alaska, 99519-6960, but must be received by 4:00 P.M. on or before April 27, 2017, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the Land Lease.
