Proposed Permit Coverage:
The discharge of once-through non-contact cooling water from the Healy Power Plant coal-fired steam generators and excess treated operational wastewater to the Nenana River. Outfall 001M discharges at 63º 51’ 22.679” North (N) latitude and 148º 57’ 08.170” West (W) longitude, and Outfall 002M discharges at 63º 51’ 25.622” N latitude and 148º 57’ 02.744” W longitude. Discharge may be directed at either or both outfalls. A mixing zone is proposed for each outfall for temperature and iron.

Determination:
DEC has determined to reissue the above listed general permit.
