Jorgensen/Trapping Cabin Permit
Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Northern Regional Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Bronk, Thor, and Spike Jorgensen
PROJECT NAME: ADL 411664
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
Located near Grass Lake, west of the Taylor Highway, south of Mosquito Flats; USGS Map Tanacross (C-4).
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
Township 22 North, Range 14 East, Section 28, Copper River Meridian
REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
Spike, Thor, and Bronk Jorgensen, have requested their trapping cabin permit be renewed. Their permit had expired in 2015. This permit will be good for the 10-year period starting from 2015. The original permit was issued March 10, 1986 for a trapping cabin located near Grass Lake, west of the Taylor Highway, south of Mosquito Flats. They continue to use the trapping cabin in support of their trapping activities.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Multi-year term for up to 10 years. Beginning year: 2015, Ending year: 2025
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: April 3rd by 5PM
The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, AK 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
