The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Southcoast Region, Property Management Section has issued a ten-year, public, non-exclusive easement to Coeur Alaska, Inc. for the Jualin Mine Access Road located approximately 45 miles northwest of Juneau.  This easement is granted for the purpose of operations and maintenance of an industrial access road used for the transport of mining employees, equipment and supplies and materials for the daily operation of the Kensington Mine Project.  This easement is for the period of May 6, 2016 through May 5, 2026 and is renewable upon request.  A copy of the Best Interest Finding and Easement Agreement can be obtained by contacting the DOT&PF, Property Management Section at (907) 465-4517 or by email at joanne.schmidt@alaska.gov.
