Notice of Adopted Changes to the Regulations of the Board of Certified Direct-Entry Midwives

On June 3, 2016, the Board of Certified Direct-Entry Midwives adopted regulation changes in Title 12, Chapter 14 of the Alaska Administrative Code, dealing with certification by examination, certification by credentials, continuing education, and screening of newborns for congenital heart defects.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law, signed and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on January 12, 2017, and will go into effect on February 11, 2017.  See attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 221, April 2017 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
