PUBLIC NOTICE OF LBC MEETINGS ON JANUARY 24th AND 25th, 2017

The Local Boundary Commission (LBC) granted two requests for reconsideration – one for the Dillingham annexation decision and one for the Manokotak annexation decision. The Commission will hold a decisional meeting to issue a decision on reconsideration for both the Dillingham and Manokotak annexation petitions on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. The Commission will then reconvene on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. to approve written decisions explaining all major considerations leading to its decisions on reconsideration for both Dillingham and Manokotak. The LBC will also consider approving minutes for its December 1, 2016, December 20, 2016, and January 10, 2017, meetings.

Both meetings will be held in Anchorage in Room 1620 at the Atwood Building at 550 W. 7th Avenue, Anchorage, AK 99501. The meetings will also be available via teleconference by calling 1-800-315-6338 and using access code 94587. All meeting materials are or will be available online at the LBC website.
