NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

LHD Taxiway V Reconstruction Design Services
RFP No. 25172026

The Contractor shall provide professional design services to complete a bid-ready set of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E), including electrical and drainage design. Services include an engineer’s design report, construction safety and phasing plan, PS&E, Erosion and Sediment Control Plan, assistance during bidding, and assistance during construction. The Contracting Agency anticipates preparing the utility agreements; however, the Contracting Agency reserves the right to accomplish this work by other means, including amendment of the Professional Services Agreement.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately March 2017 to November 2018.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 6, 2017 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the general vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by phoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than January 27, 2017, 4:00 p.m. prevailing time.
