Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA293-13, a revenue requirement study, cost of service study, and rate redesign based on a 2015 test year. GVEA is not requesting interim rates. GVEA is requesting an effective date of January 1, 2018, for the proposed permanent rates. A selection of the current and proposed permanent rates are shown in the table below.

In addition, GVEA is proposing to revise the rates for the following services: Scheduling, System Control, and Dispatch Service; Reactive Supply and Voltage Control from Generation Sources Service; Regulation and Frequency Response Service; Operating Reserve – Spinning Reserve Service; Operating Reserve – Supplemental Reserve Service; and Long-Term Firm and Short-Term Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service.
