NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO ACQUIRE A CONTROLLING INTEREST
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that on November 17, 2016, EarthLink Business, LLC (EarthLink), a certificated competitive local exchange carrier, filed an application to transfer a controlling interest in the carrier to a newly formed indirect parent holding company, Windstream Holdings, Inc. Docket No. U-16-090 was opened to address this matter.
EarthLink has asked for an expedited consideration of its application, requesting the Commission issue a decision within 90 days of filing.
No motions for waiver or petitions for confidentiality were filed with the application. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of the application. The Commission may determine whether the application is complete by December 9, 2016.
