Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Bush-Tell, Inc. (Bush-Tell) filed tariff revision TA55-99, proposing to make amendments to its Lifeline program to comply with new federal regulations issued by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Specifically, the FCC revised the eligibility programs for low income consumers to qualify for Federal Lifeline support. Additionally, Bush-Tell requested a waiver of certain state Lifeline program eligibility criteria as established in 3 AAC 53.390(b).
In addition to the proposed amendments, Bush-Tell requested a waiver of the 45-day statutory notice period. Pursuant to 3 AAC 48.300 Bush-Tell is requesting an early effective date of December 2, 2016, to coincide with the implementation date of the revised FCC regulations.
This notice does not contain all of the revisions proposed in TA55-99 and the Commission may approve a rate or classification which varies from those proposed.
