The Intent to Apply period is now open for the SFY2018, Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Community Transit Office (ACT) grant programs. This Intent to Apply period closes at 4:30pm August 31, 2016, completed forms must be submitted electronically to dot.alaska.transit@alaska.gov.

All agencies, including current subrecipients, must submit an Intent to Apply form to be eligible to apply for public transit or human service funding from the Alaska Community Transit office. The SFY2018 Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Community Transit Office (ACT) grant applications period will be open October 2016 through December 2016.

• New agencies, and agencies that have not received funding in the past 3 years, must submit the Intent to Apply - New Agencies Form: 

• Current subrecipients must submit the Intent to Apply - Returning Agencies Form:

Eligibility notifications will be sent by email no later than September 15, 2016.

Applications will be available for SFY2018 under the following funding programs beginning in October, 2016:

• FTA Section 5310, Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities

• FTA Section 5311 Rural Public Transit (ACT will not be accepting any NEW Public Transit agencies for FY2018 grants)

• Alaska Mental Health Trust (AMHT)
