Notice of Adopted Changes to Division of Insurance Regulations

On July 18, 2016, the Director of the Alaska Division of Insurance adopted regulation changes in Title 3, Chapters 21, 23, 25, 26, 29, 30, and 31 dealing with filings, recordkeeping, licensee renewal dates, delivery of evidence of insurance, insurance claims, annuity contract disclosures, definitions, and the imposition of a return check fee.

The regulation changes were reviewed and approved by the Department of Law and filed by the Lieutenant Governor on July 21, 2016, and will go into effect on August 20, 2016. A copy of the filed version of the regulations is attached.

The new regulation changes will be printed in Register 219, October 2016 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
