Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Chugach Electric Association, Inc. (Chugach) filed a tariff revision designated as TA9-571, requesting Commission approval of a special wholesale intrastate contract between Chugach and the Alaska Wireless Network, LLC (AWN, formerly ACS Wireless).
The special contract filed in TA9-571 was executed with AWN on February 1, 2013 for service through January 31, 2018. This contract may be terminated at any time by either party by providing one hundred eighty days notice.
Under the special contract, Chugach is providing Digital Signal (DS-1) communications service from Mile 3.5 on Spur Road, Soldotna (Site 17) to Cooper Mountain; from Site 17 to Summit Lake; and attendant space and power requirements for facilities located at Cooper Mountain. The special contract contains the following monthly charges for telecommunications service:

Finally, Chugach requested a waiver of the cost of service support required for intrastate wholesale rates, under 3 AAC 53.370(b).
