PUBLIC NOTICE
REGARDING DISPOSAL OF AN INTEREST IN MUNICIPAL TRUST LAND IN
CHENEGA BAY, ALASKA BY THE MUNICIPAL LAND TRUSTEE

In accordance with A.S. 44.33.755 and 3 AAC 190.420 - .450 the Municipal Land Trust Officer,
acting on behalf of the Commissioner of the Department of Commerce, Community, and
Economic Development, is considering the issuance of a lease of the following described parcel
of Municipal Trust land to the Chenega IRA Council for the community hall and garage storage
site:

That surface estate located within Section 25, Township 1 South, Range 8 East,
Seward Meridian, Alaska, more particularly described as Tract G of Alaska
Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA) Section 14 (c), Tracts A through X,
Recorded as plat 96-17 in the Valdez recording district, being situated in the
Native village of Chenega Bay containing .31 acres more or less and depicted in
the attached property plan.

The Chenega IRA Council, the recognized appropriate village entity for the village of Chenega
Bay, adopted a resolution approving the lease on March 14, 2016.

The public is invited to comment on the proposed lease. Please submit comments to:
