AMHS Fleet Condition Survey 2016/17

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional engineering services to (1) Perform ship-checks of AMHS vessels to determine each vessels current condition of various systems and equipment, (2) Prepare Condition Survey of each vessel, (3) Identify and Prepare Capital Improvement Project items based on need. (4) Develop and assemble a Fleet Condition Survey Book-Catalog for each vessel. (5) Estimate cost of the various CIP and State Overhaul packages/projects.
A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package. Estimated period forperformance of the Agreement is March 9, 2016/July 31, 2018. Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available January 22, 2016 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 6860Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK 99801-7999. Persons residing outside the City & Borough of Juneau may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 465-4488. Walk-in and telephone service is available during the hours of 7:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms. Submittals must bereceived no later than February 11, 2016, 4:00 PM prevailing time. Please be advised that none of the courier services (Fed-EX, UPS, etc.) provide overnight service to or from Juneau. Please allow at least 2 to 3 business days for receipt of expedited packages.

Every effort will be made by the Department to insure that Contractors receive all addenda when issued. It is the Offeror’s responsibility to insure that he has received all addenda affectingthe RFP. No protest will be allowed based on the offeror’s allegation that he did not receive all the addenda for a RFP.
