STATE FINANCIAL AID PROGRAMS: SUPPLEMENTALNOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS OF THE ALASKACOMMISSION ON POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION
This supplemental notice includes information on how to submit written questions during the comment period and notification that a copy of material proposed for adoption by reference is available on the Alaska Online Public Notice System.
The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) proposes to adopt regulation changes in Title 20 Chapter 15 of the Alaska Administrative Code dealing with regulation of the Alaska state financial aid programs (AS 14.43), including the following:
· Update federal poverty guidelines (15.915); and
· General housekeeping and conforming changes
You may comment on the proposed regulation changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to the Executive Director of ACPE, P. O. Box 110505, Juneau, Alaska 99811-0505, or ACPE.ExecDirector@Alaska.gov. Comments received are a public record. The comments must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on September 28, 2015. If you are a person with a disability who needs a special accommodation in order to participate in this process, please contact Rochelle Rogers at 907-465-6718 no later than 4:30 p.m.on September 14, 2015, to ensure that any necessary accommodations can beprovided.
You may submit written questions relevant to the proposed action to the Executive Director of ACPE. The questions must be received at least 10 days before the end of the public comment period. ACPE will aggregate its response to substantially similar questions and make the questions and response available on the agency’s website at www.acpe.alaska.gov and Alaska’s Online Public Notice System. ACPE may, but is not required to, answer written questions received after the 10-day cut-off date and before the end of the comment period.

The language of the final regulations may be different from that of the proposed regulations. YOU SHOULD COMMENT DURING THE TIME ALLOWED IF YOUR INTERESTS COULD BE AFFECTED.
