Notice of Utility Applicationfor Certificate Amendment
TheREGULATORY COMMISSION of ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that onJune 9, 2015, ALASKA PIPELINE COMPANY (APLC) filed an application to amendCertificate of Public Convenience and Necessity No. 141. APLC proposes toconstruct a 4.16 mile long, 16-inch diameter pipeline to connect the Cook InletNatural Gas Storage Company Alaska, LLC facility to an existing APLC pipelinenear Mile 18.2 of Kalifornsky Beach Road. The proposed route of the new pipelinewould follow Bridge Access Road and Kalifornsky Beach Road. APLC’s certificateamendment application seeks to extend its service area to include the route ofthe new pipeline. Docket No. U-15-087 was opened to address this matter.
Inconjunction with its application, APLC filed a motion for expedited considerationof its application. This notice does not address in detail all of the pointscontained in the filing. The Commission may approve or impose conditions thatvary from those proposed.
Anyindividuals proposing to file an application to furnish the same, orsubstantially the same, service or facility within the proposed expansionservice area must file a notice of intent to file a competing application by July15, 2015.
Nomotion for waiver or petition for confidentiality was filed with theapplication. The Commission has not assessed the completeness of theapplication or the petition for waiver. The Commission may determine whether theapplication is complete before June30, 2015.
