ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL BOARD MEETING
Pursuant to Alaska Statutes, 04.06.050, the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board is holding its regular meeting to consider its agenda covering liquor license applications, license suspension, regulations, and other matters that may come before it, including the regulation of marijuana. The board will take public comment on items of agenda business and other issues of public interest related to alcoholic beverages on April 29, 2015, including the conduct of business by licensees and the compliance by licensees and others with the statutes and regulations related to alcoholic beverages. The board will take public comment on items of agenda business and other issues of public interest related to marijuana on April 30, 2015. The board will hear a presentation from the Department of Law regarding the regulations process on April 30, 2015. No board business will be transacted during this presentation and no public participation will be invited during the presentation. Persons may appear at any time during the meeting. The meeting will be held in Anchorage on April 29 & 30, 2015 at the Anchorage Legislative Information Office, Room 203, 716 W 4th Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska 99501. On April 29th there will be a briefing by the director at 11:00 AM.; the meeting will begin at 11:15 AM. Public testimony will be 11:20 AM to 11:50 AM on items not on the agenda. The meeting on April 30th will cover issues pertaining to implementation of Ballot Measure 2 (AS 17.38), the Regulation of Marijuana and will begin at 9:00 AM with a briefing by the director. Public testimony on 9:20 AM to 9:50 AM on items not on the agenda. The presentation by the Department of Law will begin at 11:00 AM.
