NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE REGULATIONS OF
THE REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA
The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (Commission) proposes, in Docket R-15-001, to adopt the following two changes to regulations in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code, related to the criteria for determining power cost equalization:
(1) 3 AAC 52.610(b)(2) is proposed to be changed as follows:
(b) The power cost equalization per kilowatt-hour for each rate schedule is the least of
(2) the amount equal to .95 x ($1 - B) where B is the base amount set by the commission under (c) of this section;
(2) 3 AAC 52.620(b) is proposed to be changed as follows:
(b) A line loss standard of 12 percent applies to all electricity sold, and is measured according to the following formula:
Line Loss = G – (S + E)
G
where,
G equals all kilowatt-hours generated or purchased, from whatever source;
S equals kilowatt-hours sold; and
E equals station service.
