Public Access Easement

In accordance with the provisions of AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Region Office (SCRO) is considering an application from Christian Warren, through authorized agent Jeff Jaworski, to authorize an existing road from the Sterling Highway near Milepost 161 to Alute Road near Anchor Point, Alaska. The project is located on state lands within Section 13, Township 5 South, Range 15 West, Seward Meridian.
The proposed easement is approximately 230 feet in length and 60 feet in width, extending north from the Sterling Highway to the east-west section line easement between Sections 12 and 13, on the State-owned parcel east of the affected lot line. The area for this proposed easement totals approximately 0.3 acres. The layout of the existing road area is shown in the attached preliminary survey. Please note that the attached survey is for depiction purposes only, and may contain typographical errors.
Members of the public and interested parties are invited to review the easement application materials and comment on this easement application. DMLW must receive written comments no later than 5 pm on Monday, May 18, 2015. In order to give full consideration, all comments should clearly explain the facts on which they are based and how they pertain to the proposed easement.
