Notice of Public Meeting of the Alaska Board of Game Committee on Copper Basin area hunting regulations

A committee of the Alaska Board of Game (board) will meet from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2014 at the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery building located at 941 North Reeve Boulevard, Anchorage, Alaska. The purpose of the committee meeting is to review and discuss current and potential changes to hunting regulations for the Copper Basin area in Units 13, 12, and 11.

The Board of Game established the committee at the October 2013 work session with the intent to identify modifications to the current regulations to be submitted as a proposal for the 2014/2015 board meeting cycle. The committee membership consists of board members, advisory committee members, and members of the public. The committee will report any recommendations to the full board at a regularly scheduled meeting.

The meeting is open to the public for listening only.
