Public Hearing
on the
2014-2015 Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Plan
A public hearing will be held to provide interested persons an opportunity to comment on the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Plan which will be submitted to the federal Office of Child Care by July 1, 2013. The Plan provides information regarding income eligibility guidelines, provider payment rates, service priorities, parental rights and responsibilities, and quality improvement activities and serves as the Department of Health & Social Services application for CCDF funds.
This biennial (every two years) plan describes the overall services and activities administered by the State of Alaska Division of Public Assistance, Child Care Program Office. This plan includes estimates for the amount of funding which will be available for child care services including: Child Care Assistance, Child Care Licensing and the Child Care Resource and Referral Network.
