Local Boundary Commission (LBC)

Public Notice of LBC Public Meeting

The LBC will meet on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 9:30 a.m. in the Atwood Building, 550 West 7th Avenue, Suite 1760 (17th floor conference room), Anchorage, Alaska. It will continue on Thursday April18 at 9:00 in the Atwood Building in Suite 1620 (16th floor conference room). The meeting’s purpose includes examining what the constitutional framers intended for local governments, what role the framers intended for the LBC, and related issues. Other items include electing a vice chair, discussion of suspending 3 AAC 110.690(b) to allow free telephonic access to the next LBC meeting, and other matters. The meeting will be filmed.
