PUBLIC is INVITED and ENCOURAGED to ATTEND THIS MEETING

What: Ugashik Election for Designated Lower Bristol Bay Advisory Committee
Ugashik Committee Seat (Three (3) year term expiring December 31, 2015)

Where and When: At the Ugashik Traditional Village regular monthly meeting,
Thursday, 4:00 pm, January 24, 2013, Teleconference 1-800-349-4593 passcode

Who: Any Bristol Bay resident may nominate or be nominated to represent the
City of Ugashik on the Lower Bristol Bay Advisory Committee. For a nomination
to be voted upon, the nomination must be seconded. Only residents of Ugashik,
who are legal voting age, present at the meeting may vote.

TO QUALIFTY:
5 AAC 96.040. Qualifications for members. Any committee member must be
a resident of the region. To qualify for membership on a committee, a candidate
must have knowledge of and experience with the fish and wildlife resources and
their uses in the area, and have a reputation within the community consistent
with the responsibilities of a committee membership.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 AAC 96.010. Establishment of a local fish and game advisory committee
system. There is established a system of local fish and game advisory
committees to provide a local forum for the collection and expression of
opinions and recommendations on matters relating to the management of fish and
wildlife resources.

NOMINATIONS: Please submit nominations in writing by January 15, 2013 to

A committee member or resident of the area served by the committee who
qualifies under this section may submit a nomination for committee membership
to the committee orally or in writing, at any regular meeting, regardless of
whether a quorum is present.
