Koyukuk River Fish And Game Advisory Committee Meeting

This meeting is to take the place of the meeting that should have occured in
Hughes on December 7th, which was then rescheduled to January 30th, which was
then rescheduled to February 6th.

The Koyukuk River Advisory Committee will be holding a public meeting in
Fairbanks in the Extended Stay Delux Hotel Meeting Room at 3:00 pm on Monday,
February 6, 2012.

Agenda items will include the following items:
• 2011 Moose Survey and Harvest Data- Glenn Stout, ADFG
• Unit 24B IM Plan – Alatna/Allakaket Village Management Area
• Discussion & comment on Proposals before the BOG on Statewide and Interior
Issues (52; 161-169)
• Huslia Community Harvest Plan
• Concerns/Questions for Fish and Wildlife Representative
• Season update on the Yukon River-Tentative
• Call for Proposals, 2012 Board of Fish
 Arctic, Yukon, Kuskokwim BOF to meet in Anchorage next season
 Proposals due by April 10, 2012
 Draft Letter to BOF on First Pulse Fishing
• Gates of The Arctic National Park SRC- Hunting Plan Recommendation 10-01
• Election of Representative and Alternate to Interior BOG, March 2-11, 2012
• Other

Advisory committees are local groups that meet to discuss fishing and wildlife
issues and to provide recommendations to Alaska Board of Fisheries and Alaska
Board of Game. All meetings are open to the public. Advisory Committees are
intended to provide a local forum on fish and wildlife issues. Their purpose
includes: 1) developing regulatory proposals, 2) evaluating regulatory
proposals and making recommendations to the appropriate board, 3) providing a
local forum for fish and wildlife conservation and use, including matters
relating to habitat, 4) advising the appropriate regional council on resources,
and 5) consulting with individuals, organizations, and agencies.
