Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: HIGH ADVENTURE AIR CHARTER, GUIDES & OUTFITTERS, INC.
PROJECT NAME: LAS 33508
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in Southwestern Alaska at the southern end of Crescent Lake, on the southern side of the point at the lake's outlet of the Crescent River.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: NE1/4 of NW1/4 of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 21 West, Seward Meridian
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant High Adventure Air Charter, Guides & Outfitters, Inc. is requesting a land use permit at Crescent Lake for the year-round storage of up to two 18-foot skiffs to be used for commercial recreation purposes. The boats would be anchored in the water between June and September, and then stored on the beach below the ordinary high-water mark during the off-season between October and May.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
5-year term: 2021-2026
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: February 9, 2021
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
