Addendum 1 serves to answer questions from vendors and make changes to the ITB.

The Department of Natural Resources, Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office (TLO) is soliciting bids for a qualified contractor to provide as needed round trip barge transportation services between Ketchikan and Icy Cape, Alaska over a three-year term at approximately 2-3 trips per season as specified within this ITB.

The Contractor shall transport materials, equipment, and supplies from Ketchikan to Icy Cape. Icy Cape is located approximately 70 miles northwest of Yakutat, Alaska in west Icy Bay. Because there are no docking facilities at Icy Cape, the Contractor shall use a ramp barge or landing craft which meets USCG Load Line Regulations and is capable of loading and off-loading in a remote undeveloped location.

The State estimates two to three trips a year and a budget of approximately $800,000.00 dollars for the term of contract. The State does not guarantee a minimum or maximum number of services to be provided or dollar amount to be spent under any contract resulting from this ITB. Bids priced at more than $800,000.00 will be considered non-responsive.
