Decision to Rescind Best Interest Decision
Negotiated Mineral Lease for Amanita Project – Fairbanks

Notice is hereby given that the Executive Director of the Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office (TLO) has determined to rescind the Best Interest Decision for a negotiated mineral lease of certain Trust land to Avidian Gold Alaska Inc. due to withdrawal of application by the applicant. The public comment period for the Best Interest Decision is thereby closed and considered moot because there is not an applicable decision at this time.

The Trust land affected by the decision is adjacent to the community of Fairbanks, and is more particularly described as portions of Section 11-13, Township 001 North, Range 001 East, Fairbanks Meridian, containing approximately 680 acres (MH Parcel(s) FM-0036, FM-0037 and FM-0047).

The Executive Director of the TLO reserves the right to waive technical defects in this notice, to amend, or to postpone.
