REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Sealed Proposals for ANC South Terminal Cooling System Upgrades Design-Build, Project Number AIP 3-02-0016-XXX-2020 / CFAPT00701, will be received before 4:00 p.m., January 25, 2021 at the office of the Chief of Contracts, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded contract requires the Contractor to provide the necessary design and construction services to upgrade the cooling system for the South Terminal at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport in Anchorage, Alaska.  Work includes replacement of chillers, modifications to and replacement of cooling towers, re-piping of primary chilled water distribution loops and ancillary tasks necessary to produce a complete and functional system.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The Project Substantial Completion date will be April 30, 2022.

A site visit has been scheduled during the advertising period on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  Meet in the North Terminal ticket lobby in front of baggage claim to be escorted through the work areas.  Bring safety vest, driver license and vehicle license number.  In an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID-19, attendees shall bring and wear face coverings and maintain social distancing.  Park in the North Terminal Parking Lot.  A map to the meeting area and parking instructions is provided in the project manual.
