INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Nome DMVA Hangar Renovation, Program Number 25RS092601, will be received before 2:00 p.m., September 11, 2020 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will upgrade the envelope of the DMVA hangar and also includes replacement of windows, exterior doors, replacement of acoustical ceiling tiles and associated mechanical and electrical work.  Additive Alternate 1 deletes 7/8 inch roof furring members and adds continuous plywood and roofing underlayment as described in the Contract Documents.

The award of this contract will be expedited due to federal funding timeline considerations.  See Special Notice to Bidders. 

A non-mandatory work site visit has been scheduled during the advertising period on Thursday, August 27th, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Nome Hangar located at 1230 Center Creek Road, Nome, Alaska. 

The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. The Project substantial completion date will be October 30, 2021.
