INVITATION TO BIDDERS
The State of Alaska, Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, subject to the provisions of AS 41.21.020 will receive sealed bids for
Chilkoot Lake SRS: Road Corridor Improvements, Project No. 79105-3
near Haines, Alaska.
Work includes:
This project improves the driving surface, drainage and pedestrian facilities along the roadway from the intersection of Lutak Road and Chilkoot Lake Road to the Chilkoot Lake SRS facility. The work includes embankment, excavation, culvert installation, bear viewing platforms, paved pedestrian walkway, signage, asphalt pavement, and striping.
This is a federal-aid project.
The bids will be received until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the Division's Anchorage office, 550 W 7th Avenue, Suite 1340, Anchorage, Alaska 99501-3565. The Department will assemble, open, and then publicly announce the timely-received bids at 550 W. 7th Avenue, Suite 1340; Anchorage, AK 99501, at 2:15 PM, or as soon thereafter as practicable.
Bids may be held by the Division for a period of forty (40) calendar days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contract.
