NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Southcentral September 2012 Flooding Repairs Palmer Fishhook Road Design Services

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for design services to reconstruct existing roadway infrastructure that was damaged during the 2012 flood, stabilize the land slide area, and construct betterments to prevent future flooding damage. Services are anticipated to include: cultural resource, surveying and ROW mapping, hydraulic and hydrologic report, design study report, public involvement, erosion and sediment control plan, traffic control plan, plans, specifications, and estimate, assistance during bidding, and assistance during construction.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately March 2020 to December 2022.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $500,000 to $1,000,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available December 13, 2019 and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:00PM. Persons residing outside the vicinity may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than January 30, 2020 before 4:00pm, prevailing time.
