INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Seward Hwy: MP 100-105 Improvements, Project Number 0A31056 / CFHWY00011, and HSIP: CR Traffic Safety Corridor Left Turn Lanes Project Number 0001497 / Z570880000 will be received before 2:00 p.m., November 1, 2019 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This federally funded project will rehabilitate the Seward Highway from approximately mile post 100 to 105.  Project work includes drainage improvements, replacing Indian Creek Bridge, rehabilitating other bridges, trail improvements, and upgrades to the signing, striping, and guardrail.  The project will provide roadway improvements to address safety issues caused by traffic flow disruption as well as increase safety at intersections and provide separation between motorized and non-motorized users.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $30,000,000 and $40,000,000. The Project completion date will be October 15, 2021.
