Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water, Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: Matanuska Susitna Borough
PROJECT NAME: ADL 233418
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Palmer, AK
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: NE ¼ NW ¼ of Section 15, Township 17 North, Range 2 East, Seward Meridian.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is requesting a public easement to protect an existing natural drainage swale located between the eastern terminus of Depriest Avenue and the Matanuska River. No construction is planned at this time. The proposed easement dimensions are 50 feet in width and 230 feet in length, with a total area of 0.26 acres. The easement, if approved, may differ from that described herein.

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.
