Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment and performing all work on Project No. 0002380/NFHWY00153, Northern Region Atmospheric Data Equipment Installation and Upgrades, described herein, will be received until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, August 6, 2019, in the Office of the Contracts Engineer, Engineering Services Building, Room 3, 2301 Peger Road, Fairbanks, Alaska.

The project consists of installing five Road Weather Information System (RWIS) sites throughout the Region to support the Northern Region Maintenance Decision Support System (MDSS).  The work includes upgrading and/or repairing existing temperature data probe equipment and communications to full RWIS reporting capability.

Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000

The project completion date is June 30, 2020.
