INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for Pitkas Point School Demolition & Remediation, Program Number 2501000080, will be received before 2:00 p.m., May 3, 2019 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded contract includes the demolition, removal and disposal or salvage of multiple buildings, improvements, and obstructions on the School Property in Pitkas Point, Alaska. The work also includes excavation, removal, transportation, and treatment or disposal of contaminated soil as specified and as shown on the project drawings.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. The Project substantial completion date will be August 1, 2020.

A site visit has been scheduled for April 18, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  Meet at the front entrance to the school to be escorted through the work site.  The work site is not available for inspection without prior notification of the Project Manager.  If a bidder wishes to inspect the work site, they must first contact Project Manager Vadim Belozertsev at vadim.belozertsev@alaska.gov to arrange a date and time.  Bidders may only be escorted through the work areas by Department authorized personnel.

Plans, Specs, Bid Packets and Addenda along with other additional information pertaining to the project may now be downloaded in their entirety at no charge from the Department’s approved online bidding service: https://www.bidx.com/ak/lettings. From the DOT&PF website: http://dot.alaska.gov/procurement/awp/awp-bids.cfm?rc=CR your company must self-register by clicking on the Plan Holders link, or register with the Central Region Plans Room, or your bid may not be accepted.

Bidding documents may also be purchased for $100.00 per set, payable to the State of Alaska, from the Central Region Plans Room, 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska before 4:30 p.m. (907) 269-0408.

Individuals with disabilities, including the hearing impaired, who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a bid/proposal should contact the TTD number: (907) 269-0473, no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements.
