Mat-Su Area State Parks Citizens Advisory Board
The Mat-Su Area State Parks Citizens Advisory Board is established by the Director to advise the Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, through the Park Superintendent, on implementing the Division’s missions, goals, policies and plans. Examples include, but are not limited to:
- Park Statutes and Regulations
- Park Management Plans
- Alaska State Parks Strategic Plan
The Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation recognizes the value of an independent Board that represents a diversity of recreational interests to advise the Division of public sentiment on the use and management of park units.
The Board meets at 7:00pm on the second Tuesday of the month, from October through May, at the Division of Forestry Conference Room in Palmer. For information regarding the Advisory Board meetings or any other Mat-Su State Parks matters, contact:
