INVITATION TO BID

Sealed bids for AVTEC Underground Fuel Tank Replacement, Program Number 2501000040, will be received before 2:00 p.m., September 26, 2018 at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, Alaska.

This state funded project will remove or decommission five (5) underground fuel tanks and install new above ground tanks at the Alaska Vocational Technical Center (AVTEC) in Seward, Alaska. Basic Bid includes all work to replace the fuel tank at the First Lake Facility. Additive Alternate 1 includes all work to replace the fuel tank at the Maintenance Building. Additive Alternate 2 includes all work to replace the fuel tank at the Industrial Electricity Building. Additive Alternate 3 includes all work to replace the fuel tank at the Applied Technology Building. Additive Alternate 4 includes all work to replace the fuel tank at the Student Service Center. Four (4) of the new tanks are owner supplied.

The Engineer's Estimate is between $200,000 and $500,000 (Basic Bid and All Additive Alternates). The Project Substantial Completion date will be June 30, 2019.
