Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: David Phillip Byrd dba Arctic North Guides LLC

PROJECT NAME: LAS 32131

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located on the Alaska Peninsula, approximately 22 miles south south-west of Ugashik Bay, ten miles east of Bristol Bay, and 1.5 miles west of the Cinder River, on the northwest shore of an unnamed lake.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Section 36, Township 33 South, Range 55 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: The installation and maintenance of a sportfishing and upland/waterfowl hunting camp consisting of one 20' x 24' tent platform or cabin, three 12' x 12' guest cabins, three 12' x 16' weatherport platforms and weatherports,  one 12' x 16' shed for storage and a generator, one 12' x 16' shower house, one 6' x 6' outhouse, and the storage of three 16' boats.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: May 1, 2018
End: October 31, 2022

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity.  To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity.  The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
