GOLDEN HARVEST ALASKA SEAFOOD, LLC
ADAK SEAFOOD PROCESSING FACILITY
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has made a preliminary decision to approve Golden Harvest Alaska Seafood, LLC’s application for Air Quality Control Minor Permit AQ1373MSS02 for the Adak Seafood Processing Facility.
Applicant: Golden Harvest Alaska Seafood, LLC, 100 Mechanic Street, Adak, AK 99546
Physical Location: 100 Seawall Road, Adak, AK
Activity: Golden Harvest’s application is classified under 18 AAC 50.508(6) for revising or rescinding Title I permit conditions and 18 AAC 50.508(5) to establish owner requested limits.
Emissions: The stationary source emissions will not exceed 99.0 tpy NOx, 42.8 tpy CO, 3.1 tpy PM-10/PM-2.5, 24.8 tpy SO2, and 2.4 tpy VOC.
ADEC Preliminary Review: Based on review of the application, ADEC drafted a preliminary permit decision for this project under AS 46.14 and 18 AAC 50.

Opportunity for Public Participation: Any interested person may present written statements relevant to the draft documents, as long as they are received within the timeframe listed below. ADEC will consider all comments received and make any changes ADEC finds beneficial or necessary to assure compliance with 18 AAC 50 or State Law. ADEC will issue a final decision to issue or deny the permit after the close of the public comment period.
