GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Proposed locations for underwater passive acoustic receivers will be deployed within Prince William Sound in Knight Passage by Chenega and Mummy Islands, the upper region of Montague Strait near Marsha Bay, Green Island, Montague Point, near Johnstone Point at Hinchinbrook Island, and near Glacier Island.

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant is requesting use of state tide and submerged lands in Southcentral Alaska for underwater passive acoustic receivers to be deployed within Prince William Sound in Knight Passage by Chenega and Mummy Islands, Marsha Bay, Green Island, Montague Point, Johnstone Point, and Glacier Island. The arrays will track and monitor various fish species.

Start: March 1, 2018
End: February 28, 2023
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 8, 2018
The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above.
