Stallion Rockies, Ltd.

Subject to AS 38.05.070(e), the Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW), Northern Regional Office (NRO) has received an application for the following: to renew a current long-term lease in Deadhorse, Alaska. Pursuant to AS 38.05.070(f)(2) the DMLW has made the decision to extend the lease for a maximum of two years. This will allow DMLW time to consider the application to renew the lease.

APPLICANT: Stallion Rockies, Ltd.

PROJECT NAME: ADL 400091 Lease Extension Decision

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: East side of the Sag River Road approximately one half mile south of the intersection with the Spine Road in Deadhorse, Alaska.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Tract 52 of Alaska State Land Survey 76-227, Survey of North Slope Lease Tracts, Deadhorse, Alaska; approximately 5.27 acres within Section 17, Township 10 North, Range 15 East, Umiat Meridian.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: February 14, 2018
End: February 13, 2020

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: March 14, 2018

The public is invited to comment on this decision. The DMLW is notifying the public that the NRO has decided to extend this lease for a 2-year period. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at Northern Regional Office, 3700 Airport Way, Fairbanks, Alaska 99709 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above.
