The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC) has determined that the permit application, submitted by Nikiski Disposal Inc. for operation of a Sewage Solids Monofill in Nikiski, Alaska, is complete. ADEC is proposing to issue Solid Waste Permit No. SWYA060-22 to Nikiski Disposal Inc. for the disposal of solid waste.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Location: Mile 1.8 South Miller Loop Road, within Section 35, Township 7N, Range 12W, Seward meridian.

The applicant proposes operating a sewage solids monofill. The facility is designed to accept sewage solids from municipal sewage treatment plants and from permitted septage treatment facilities.
