NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

HSIP: CR Curve Warning Signs Evaluation / Upgrade Design Services
RFP No. 25182025      

The Department intends to enter into a negotiated agreement for professional engineering services to evaluate the horizontal alignment of over 400 routes in Central Region for adherence to Alaska specific horizontal alignment standards. Services will include field investigation and data collection, and development of a Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) assembly suitable for project bidding, and support during bidding and construction. The Contracting Agency reserves the right to add Environmental Support, Geotechnical, Public Involvement, and Utilities Support services to the contract by amendment, but is under no obligation to do so.

A complete description of services is contained in the RFP Package.  Estimated period for performance of the Agreement is approximately January 2018 to November 2019.  Cost of these professional services is expected to be in the range of $250,000 to $500,000.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) Package will be available October 20, 2017, and may be obtained in person from the DOT&PF plans room at 4111 Aviation Avenue, Anchorage, AK before 4:00 p.m. Persons residing outside the Municipality of Anchorage may obtain an RFP Package through the mail by telephoning (907) 269-0408.

Proposals must conform to the RFP and be submitted with specified forms.  Submittals must be received no later than November 13, 2017, 4:00 p.m., prevailing time.
