ADL 232949: Iliamna River bridge replacement project near Pile Bay, Alaska
Applicant: DOT&PF

Pursuant to Alaska Statue 38.05.850, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land, and Water (DMLW), Southcentral Regional Office is considering a request from DOT&PF to create a public easement for the placement of rip rap and armoring below ordinary high water of the Iliamna River as part of the Iliamna River bridge replacement project, near Pile Bay, Alaska. The public easement is proposed to be located on State-owned, DMLW-managed shoreland within:

•    Section 10 of Township 5 South, Range 27 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska

The requested public easement would be of varying length and width, and would occupy approximately 0.399 acres of State land. The requested easement is labeled E-2 on the attached map.

Members of the public and interested parties are invited to comment on this project. DMLW must receive comments no later than 5:00 pm October 23, 2017. In order to be given full consideration, all comments should be in writing and should clearly explain the facts on which they are based and how they pertain to the requested easement.
