Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southeast Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:
APPLICANT: David White and Steve Svenson
PROJECT NAME: LAS 23683
GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Lincoln Channel, approximately 56 miles Southeast of Ketchikan.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: SW ¼ NE ¼, Sec. 24, T. 82 S., R. 98 E., CRM
REQUESTED ACTIVITY: David White and Steve Svenson have submitted an application to the Division of Mining Land and Water (DMLW) for a 5-year Land Use Permit requesting authorization for seasonal moorage of two personal use floating docks and associated water line on state owned tide and submerged lands within Lincoln Channel. The floating docks (25’ x 25’ and 50’ x 14’) are secured with two anchors and two shore ties to rocks below the line of mean high water.
PROPOSED DATES OF USE: Start: October 1, 2017 End: September 30, 2022
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: October 3, 2017
The public is invited to comment on the proposed activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at 400 Willoughby Avenue/PO Box 111020, Juneau, AK 99811-1020 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue a permit with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
