NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATIONS
LAS 28609 & LAS 28610
Pursuant to AS 46.15 and rules and regulations promulgated thereunder, notice is hereby given that two applications have been received from the City of Toksook Bay, PO Box 37008, Toksook Bay, AK 99637, to appropriate water as follows: a combined total of 86,000 gallons of water per day, January 1st through December 31st, for public water supply from Drilled Well A-1, 165 feet deep, within SW1/4SE1/4, Section 8, Township 5 North, Range 90 West, Seward Meridian and Drilled Well 3-A, 165 feet deep, and Drilled Well 3-B, 160 feet deep, located within NW1/4NE1/4, Section 8, Township 5 North, Range 90 West, Seward Meridian. Priority date is May 10, 2012.
Water use is for a public water system for the City of Toksook Bay. These water rights are appurtenant to the City of Toksook Bay’s water distribution system located within Sections 8, 9, and 17, Township 5 North, Range 90 West, Seward Meridian, Bethel Recording District, Fourth Judicial District, State of Alaska.
The public is invited to comment on these actions. For further information on the subject, please contact Andrew Harrington at the above address or telephone number. The Water Resources Section must receive comments in writing by 5:00 p.m., September 26, 2017 at the above address to be considered. If issued, a permit may be extended for good cause shown, pursuant to AS 46.15.110 and 11 AAC 93.120(f), without additional public notice.
